Big Whiskey's Serves One Million Guests in 12 Months

May 12, 2016 // Franchising.com // -- It's not every day a Springfield business can say it has served 1,000,000 customers in a 12-month period. But that's exactly what Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar announced today as the company prepares to celebrate "One Million One Year".

From May 1 2015 to May 1 2016, Big Whiskey's 5 area restaurants combined to serve over 1,000,000 customers according to Paul Sundy, founder & COO. "This is an amazing milestone for our company which started with one small restaurant in downtown Springfield not quite 10 years ago." Big Whiskey's Concepts LLC now operates 5 stores (3 in Springfield, one each in Ozark & Branson), will open its 6th store in Kansas City in 2017 and has franchises opening in Bentonville AR and Kansas City in early 2017.

To commemorate "One Million One Year", Big Whiskey's on Battlefield Road hosted a celebration on May 19th for, as Sundy put it, "our great community who's made this all possible." The restaurant had food & drink specials all day including free Buffalo Chicken Dip for everyone. Door prizes were given out every 15 minutes from 5-7 and there was a drawing for dinner for 2 for a year.
