Franchise owner Jeff Gates held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, June 1 to Sunday, June 5 to support Cougar Valley Elementary School, Emerald Heights Elementary School and Silverdale Elementary School.
The new restaurant, located at 11065 Pacific Crest Place NW (At the Trails), circulated 15,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Cougar Valley Elementary School, Emerald Heights Elementary School and Silverdale Elementary School.
Gates is a strong advocate for making a difference and truly believes in the Jersey Mike’s brand principle that, “We don’t give to get, we give to give.” He is excited to open a store in the Silverdale area and will focus on supporting the local community during the grand opening raising funds for three local elementary schools. This is Gate’s third store in the market with locations in Gig Harbor and Puyallup. He has also opened up the Spokane market with the first two of five restaurants planned for the area.
