Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Long Island Location In Commack
September 19, 2016 // Franchising.com // Commack, NY - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Commack on September 14. Franchise owners John Walsh, Susan Daly and Nikki Gingola held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, September 14 to Sunday, September 18 to support Elwood SEPTA. This is the first Jersey Mike’s location to open on Long Island.
The new restaurant, located at 6224 Jericho Turnpike, circulated 5,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 donation to Elwood SEPTA.
“We look forward to bringing the authentic Jersey Mike’s sub sandwiches to the Northport/Commack community,” said Daly. “During our grand opening fundraiser we will be raising money for the Elwood School District Special Education Department, which is an important organization that supports deserving families. We look forward to sharing the Jersey Mike’s experience and getting our customers addicted to the juice.”
