Scooter’s Coffee Continues Growth in the State of Florida

First-Ever Location in Rockledge, FL Celebrates Grand Opening

September 30, 2016 // // Rockledge, FL - Scooter’s Coffee, the Midwest-based franchise that has experienced tremendous growth over the past year, will add their second location in Florida with the company’s latest Grand Opening in Rockledge, FL (833 Osceola Drive) on September 30. To celebrate the opening, the new specialty coffee drive-thru will offer $1 medium drinks all day.

“We are excited for the opportunity to further our national presence in the sunshine state,” said Rob Streett, President and Chief Operating Officer of Scooter’s Coffee. “Florida attracts tourists from all over the nation and will be a thriving marketplace for Scooter’s. With a high demand for a great cup of coffee through the drive-thru window, we’re looking forward to more expansion in this state.”

On September 30, Grand Opening Day, customers can also expect to receive several fun giveaways; beginning at 9 a.m., the first 100 customers will receive a t-shirt or coffee mug. For the afternoon crowd, the first 100 customers after 2 p.m. will receive a $5 gift card.

To show its commitment to the Rockledge community, this new location has partnered with Rockledge High School on Grand Opening Day and will donate 100% of proceeds to Rockledge High School Athletic Department. Rockledge High School will be onsite during the opening festivities, and customers are free to donate to the organization during their visit.

The location will also treat guests to a Week of Specials, following the festive Grand Opening event on September 30.

The week of specials includes the following:

  • Monday, October 3 - $1 Any Size Caramelicious
  • Tuesday, October 4 - $1 Any Size Mocha or White Mocha
  • Wednesday, October 5 - $1 Small Fruit Smoothies
  • Thursday, October 6 -$1 Small Candy Bar Drinks
  • Friday, October 7 - Half Off Any Drink

Mike Walker and Tom LeLievre will own this location. “From the first time we found Scooter’s Coffee, we loved the way it worked. We had the opportunity to try the products in Nebraska, and we were hooked,” said Mike. “We knew this was the brand we needed to bring home and share with the rest of Central Florida.”

The Rockledge Grand Opening marks the latest move in the company’s extraordinary growth. With more than 150 stores open in 13 states, Scooter’s Coffee has signed agreements in two additional states throughout the country and will open more than 40 locations from coast to coast in 2016. Over the next few months, the company, which recently opened its first location in Arizona, boasts a robust grand opening pipeline. This summer, the company opened its first of many locations in Florida and added a second location to the Atlanta, GA metro area. It will also add several locations this year to expanding markets, such as Iowa, Kansas, Texas and Nebraska.
Scooter’s, which is based out of Omaha, Nebraska, handcrafts its pastries and roasts its own shade-grown coffee, sourced through Arbor Day Foundation. In 2016, the company also added depth to its product profile, releasing a new line of Organic Hot and Iced Teas earlier this summer. In addition to its nearly-100% gluten-free beverage menu, Scooter's will soon added gluten-free brownies to its extensive menu.
