Breast Cancer Fundraiser and innovative ‘Burger of the Month’ Set for Oct.

Walk-On’s guests can now enjoy Allison’s Stuffed Burger, a 10-oz. burger patty stuffed with more goodness than most thought possible – cream cheese, jalapeños, bacon, mushrooms and crushed red peppers – topped with pepper jack cheese and grilled onions, and served on a toasted onion bun. For only $11.99, this limited-time burger even comes with a side of shoestring fries!
October’s Burger of the Month was fashioned by one of Walk-On’s Heart of House NSO trainers, Allison Dole. The inspiration for the ingenious creation came to Allison during a BBQ with friends; and when she shared her first samples, it became an instant crowd favorite!
Along with celebrating Allison’s tasty imagination, Walk-On’s is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a featured drink – One Hope Chardonnay. Throughout October, every bottle (4 glasses) sold will help fund a clinical trial for a woman with breast cancer. The creamy, fruit-forward California wine made by Rob Mondavi, Jr. is priced at $8 per glass.
Allison’s Stuffed Burger will only be around through Oct. 31 at participating locations, so start stretching out your jaw and head on over to your favorite Walk-On’s to experience an explosion of delectable flavors. You’re guaranteed to leave stuffed and satisfied.
Baton Rouge-based Walk-On’s – voted “Best Sports Bar in North America” by ESPN – now has nine locations: three in Baton Rouge, one each in New Orleans, Lafayette, Houma, Shreveport and Lake Charles, La., and one in Lubbock, Texas.
