New Menu Items Offer Quality And Surprise To Guest’s Palates
Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar® Adds Tested Recipes to Popular Line Up
October 05, 2016 // Franchising.com // Springfield, MO - In the ongoing commitment to adapt to their guest’s changing tastes, Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar® adds twelve new menu items to their popular dining options.
According to Matt Caetano, the additions were made as a result of listening to their customers and following industry trends. “We spent six months trying out new combinations, sauces and cuts of meat before we offered them to our first guest,” said the VP of Operations. Caetano added that their evaluations were also based on presentation, portion sizes, and the ability to keep new items at moderate prices--factors the budding franchisor sets as the standard for everything they serve.
Big Whiskey’s premium quality menu is already distinctive, offering hand-cut steaks, unique salads, wraps and pastas, street tacos, wings and craft burgers – all considered customer favorites. “We put the same amount of effort in to making the perfect salad as we do the perfect burger,” Caetano said, referring to their new steak tip wedge salad. Other new menu additions will complement Big Whiskey’s style with baby back ribs, ahi tuna, boom boom shrimp tacos and Thai tacos. Baja chicken quesadillas and a pretzel burger are also added and they’ve put dry rub wings on as a standard menu item.
Their new dessert? A big brownie skillet, which Caetano promises to satisfy even the most avid chocoholic. BW is also introducing two new wing sauces, 3 new dry rub wings, strawberry kiwi lemonade, star spangled banana smoothie, and handmade shakes.
BW believes it is critical to offer fresh choices to their customers, a philosophy that is built into their franchisee Standard Operating Procedures. “Our growth has been solid from the beginning,” as Caetano refers to Big Whiskeys having reached $10 million in annual sales this past June from their five locations. “We don’t take that for granted. With every decision we make, we ask ourselves whether it is in the interest of our customers and the future of our company. These new items add that element of surprise that customers love and keep coming back for.”
