October 17, 2016 // Franchising.com // Portland, OR - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Portland on October 12. Red Polo Ventures LLC held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, October 12 to Sunday, October to support Sunset High School
The new restaurant, located at 13543 NW Cornell Road, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 amount contribution to Sunset High School.
“We’re very fortunate to open our doors in Portland and continue serving our authentic product and customer experience,” said Ray Neyens, franchisee. “As a tradition at Jersey Mike’s, our grand opening will focus on supporting the community through a 5-day fundraiser. We chose to partner with Sunset High School to raise money for their school. We will also be adding a second part to our fundraising efforts where we give back $3 for every fundraiser coupon redeemed over the first 10 days of our grand opening.”
