Entrepreneurs Bring Amazing Lash Studio Concept to Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia

First Studio to Open in Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - October 27, 2016 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Amazing Lash Studio, the franchisor of the revolutionary eyelash extension concept, announced today its expansion into the Northern Virginia region. The expansion is being spearheaded by Regional Developers Mr. Henry Kim and Mr. Stephen Vereb.

Franchising for just over three years, Amazing Lash Studio has shown extraordinary growth with 227 licenses awarded in 25 states. “We are on pace to be one of the fastest growing concepts this decade,” states Co-Founder and CEO Mr. Edward Le. “Amazing Lash Studio is taking the beauty industry by storm for its ability to provide time-constrained women with beautiful, long-lasting, natural-looking eyelashes.”

Henry and Stephen come to the concept with impressive resumes. While engaged in successful careers as Corporate Business Developers, they both had entrepreneurial aspirations. In 2006, they began researching a variety of concepts and unearthed Massage Envy. After due diligence, they were confident this was the business for them. Opening their first clinic in 2007, they quickly attained success and in just two short years, were bestowed the prestigious Massage Envy Franchisee of the Year Award. Soon thereafter, this dynamic duo received additional company accolades for operational excellence and were presented the Multi-Unit Franchisees of the Year Award. They currently own and operate six high performing Massage Envy clinics.

In 2015, realizing the overwhelming demand for skilled massage therapists, they founded the American Massage and Bodywork Institute (AMBI) in Vienna, Virginia.

Later that same year, while looking for diversification opportunities, they were introduced to the Amazing Lash Studio concept and were instantly enamored. “Like Massage Envy, this is a first to market concept that provides a service that is convenient and affordable,” says Stephen. “It is ideal for the consumer, the stylist, and the franchise owner. We are thrilled to come in at the takeoff of this business.”

The first Amazing Lash Studio in Northern Virginia will open in Woodbridge in January 2017 with a fast track plan to open about 30 in the next two to four years.
