Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First West Salem Location
November 14, 2016 // Franchising.com // West Salem, OR - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in West Salem on November 9. Franchise owners Joseph Karcher and Cathleen Karcher, along with Beth Teske, district manager, held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, November 9 to Sunday, November 13 to support West Salem High School, Straub Middle School, Walker Middle School, and Meyers Elementary School.
The new restaurant, located at 555 Edgewater Street NW, circulated 8,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to West Salem High School, Straub Middle School, Walker Middle School, and Meyers Elementary School.
“For this grand opening we chose to partner up with our local schools,” said Joseph Karcher. “The West Salem community is a great fit for what we do at Jersey Mike’s. For the first five days that we are open we are raising money for the local schools. Our goal is to make a positive impact on the community by supporting local student programs and activities. We are very excited to be opening in West Salem and looking forward to serving our customers for many years to come!” The Karchers and Teske all agree the #13 The Original Italian is their favorite sub, a must try.
