Huddle House Restaurants Rally Together To Support Gatlinburg

Huddle House Restaurants Nationwide Collect Donations in Support of Sevier County Fire Relief Fund

December 13, 2016 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – Driven by a pledge to the community, Huddle House restaurants across the country are joining the bandwidth of businesses committed to helping rebuild the Gatlinburg community following the aftermath of the recent wildfires.

To show support for the residents of Gatlinburg, TN as they recover and rebuild their community, Huddle House locations nationwide are asking customers to donate $1 towards the Sevier County Fire Relief Fund.

At a time when Gatlinburg locals need more help than ever before, the restaurant chain decided to huddle together in show of support for the victims of the wildfires, which devastated communities across Sevier County, Tennessee in late November.

“Huddle House was founded upon the principles of Southern Hospitality – to be a warm, friendly environment that brings the community together,” Said Michael Abt, CEO. “Our goal is to generate some goodwill for not only those who have been affected by the wildfires, but also among our customers who see the need and want to help.”

Through the end of December, Huddle House customers nationwide can make free will donations of $1 or more to benefit the Sevier County Fire Relief Fund. In spirit of the holiday season, all customers are encouraged to participate and can do so at the cash register in each location.
