Scooter’s Coffee Strengthens Colorado Presence
National Franchise Signs Agreement for Fort Collins and Loveland
January 09, 2017 // Franchising.com // Omaha, NE - Scooter’s Coffee, LLC, the Midwest-based drive-thru coffee franchise that is on track for another record-breaking year of growth, announced it will continue to expand its presence in the state of Colorado with a Multi-Store Development Agreement for seven units in Fort Collins and Loveland.
“With a prestigious university, a beautiful landscape and a reputation for being a great place to live, Fort Collins is the perfect fit for Scooter’s Coffee,” said Rob Streett, President and Chief Operating Officer of Scooter’s Coffee. “This community has an appreciation for quality products, and we know that they will taste the difference.”
Scooter’s Coffee signed the agreement with Triton, LLC, a group of individuals who reside in Yuma, Colorado.
In a statement released by Triton, LLC, the new owners said: “We discovered Scooter's while traveling back to Omaha on several different occasions, and it was love at first sip. We were impressed with the fast, friendly service and the overall business model. After research and learning more about the company and their partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation (sourcing only 100% shade-grown coffee), we knew we wanted to be a part of this organization. We are so excited to introduce northern Colorado to Scooter's Coffee, we know they will fall in love with it just like we did!”
Scooter’s Coffee is quickly approaching 200 locations in 15 states. It opened 33 new locations in 2016 and plans similar expansion in 2017. The company is in the midst of a robust grand opening pipeline. It recently opened its first location in Phoenix, Arizona, added a second location to the Atlanta, Georgia, metro area and also opened its second of many locations in the state of Florida. Other expanding markets include Iowa, Kansas, Texas and Missouri.
Scooter’s Coffee, which is based in Omaha, Nebraska, handcrafts its pastries and roasts its own shade-grown coffee, sourced through the Arbor Day Foundation. In 2016, the company also added depth to its product profile, releasing a new line of Organic Hot and Iced Teas. In addition to its nearly-100% gluten-free beverage menu, Scooter's Coffee recently added gluten-free brownies to its extensive menu.
