Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Wednesday In Uniondale and Freeport

April 03, 2017 // Franchising.com // Uniondale, NY and Freeport, NY - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened two Long Island locations on March 29 - in Uniondale and Freeport.

In Uniondale, franchise owner Jim Denburg held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 29 to Sunday, April 2 to support the Hempstead Boys & Girls Club.

The new restaurant, located at 988 Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale, across the street from Hofstra University, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Hempstead Boys & Girls Club.

“It’s hard to find a great sub sandwich these days and Jersey Mike’s can fill that void,” said Denburg, who plans to open five Jersey Mike’s locations in the area. “I think Long Island will embrace the quality of Jersey Mike’s fantastic subs.”

He added, “We invite our new neighbors to come in during our grand opening and support Hempstead Boys & Girls Club, which is making an important difference in the lives of local kids.”

In Freeport, franchise owners Henry Gallo, Anthony Gallo, Lawrence DeBello and Thomas DiNardo held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, March 22 to Sunday, March 26 to support the Freeport Red Devil Boosters.

The new restaurant, located at 51 E. Merrick Road, circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Freeport Red Devil Boosters.

“We are dedicated to our customers and want this Jersey Mike’s restaurant to truly feel like a social gathering place that our neighbors want to come visit every day,” said Henry Gallo, Jersey Mike’s area director and franchise owner.
