Scooter’s Coffee Adds 17th Location to Lincoln
Newest Location to Host Day of Giving for CEDARS Home for Children
April 03, 2017 // Franchising.com // Lincoln, NE - Scooter’s Coffee, the Midwest-based coffee franchise that has experienced tremendous growth over the past year, has increased its Nebraska presence with the company’s latest drive-thru location in Lincoln (401 West O Street). The grand opening celebration on Friday, April 7, will be dedicated to CEDARS Home for Children - 100% of proceeds will be donated to this organization.
Franchisees, Jason and Rita Metcalf, who own a majority of the Lincoln stores, will own and operate this location.
“When we brought Scooter’s Coffee to Lincoln years ago, we couldn’t have imagined how engrained we would become in this community,” stated Jason Metcalf. “Through the growth of our brand, we’ve been fortunate enough to change many lives, and we’re very pleased to use this Grand Opening as a platform for CEDARS Home for Children.”
In addition to the April 7 Day of Giving, there will be specials offered all week long in celebration. April 3-5, the West O location will offer $1 off any drink, and on Thursday, April 6, the location will offer half off any drink (excluding Vertigo Smoothies).
On Friday, April 7, grand opening day, customers will receive several fun giveaways throughout the day. Beginning at 6 a.m., the first 50 customers will receive a hat with purchase. Later in the morning, starting at 10 a.m., the first 50 customers will receive a free coffee mug with purchase. The afternoon giveaways start at 12 p.m., with the first 50 customers receiving a hat with purchase and at 2 p.m., the first 100 customers will receive a $5 gift card with purchase.
To continue the celebration of this new store opening, the location will also be treating customers to Free Food weeks each Monday and Wednesday starting April 10 through May 10, where customers can enjoy a complimentary food item with the purchase of any drink (while supplies last).
