Scooter’s Coffee Adds a New Location in Omaha Market

On April 7th, New Store Donates 100% of Proceeds to Global Partners in Hope

April 03, 2017 // Franchising.com // - Omaha, NE - Scooter’s Coffee, the Midwest-based coffee franchise that has experienced tremendous nationwide growth over the past year, has increased its hometown presence with the company’s latest drive-thru location at 145th & Center (14501 West Center Rd). On Friday, April 7, the location will host a grand opening celebration, donating 100% of proceeds to Global Partners in Hope. The organization brings hope to West Africa through the development of water wells, solar panels for power, and medical clinics. The goal of Global Partners in Hope is to improve quality of life and medical statistics for the residents of Togo.

This location is owned by Freedom Enterprises. “Over the past year, we’ve dedicated several grand openings to local causes, and it’s been such a rewarding way to give back to a community that has given so much to us,” said Tracy Bouwens, one of the four Freedom owners. “We recognize the importance of using our brand to not only affect change locally, but across the world. We’re proud to be hosting a Day of Giving for such a worthy cause.”

In addition to the Day of Giving, customers will receive several fun giveaways throughout the day. Beginning at 9 a.m., the first 100 customers will receive a t-shirt with purchase. Later in the afternoon, starting at 1 p.m., the first 100 customers will receive a free mug with purchase, and at 3 p.m., the first 100 customers will receive a free $5 gift card with purchase.

“It’s truly incredible to see the amount of customers that drive thru when we simply turn on the lights in a new location in Omaha,” Stated Rob Streett, President and Chief Operating Officer of Scooter’s Coffee. “Our goal is to be conveniently located for all of our customers, and we’re looking forward to bringing our fast and friendly service to yet another area of our hometown.”

Scooter’s Coffee is quickly approaching 200 locations in 14 states. It opened 33 new locations in 2016 and plans similar expansion in 2017.
