For its latest Taste to Try offering, the better burger brand is switching things up with two chicken sandwiches highlighted for two months. The Slawesome, a crispy breaded option, and The Grilliant, a lighter grilled option, will tantalize taste buds starting May 1 and remain featured items through June.
MOOYAH, known for its amazing beef and turkey burgers, is using the spring as an opportunity to present its newest, high quality product: all natural chicken. To celebrate the addition of chicken to the MOOYAH menu, the brand is giving two delicious and elevated recipes to those who prefer chicken.
The chicken sandwiches are a continuation of MOOYAH’s Taste to Try series, which features new customized recipes each month. The crispy Slawesome is topped with made-in-house coleslaw and served on a non-GMO potato bun, while the Grilliant is served on a non-GMO multigrain bun and loaded with Swiss cheese, sliced avocado, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard. They will be featured for the next two months at MOOYAH locations nationwide, but the builds are available year-round for Guests. They just need to ask for them in restaurants or choose them from the Taste to Try menu at MOOYAHtogo.com.
“We have so much fun coming up with these Taste to Try recipes and thought it would be a great spring treat to do a double feature,” said Michael Mabry, COO of MOOYAH. “Now our chicken-loving Guests can select from either a light or indulgent sandwich—both are delicious.”
Through the Taste to Try campaign, MOOYAH, the national leader in the booming fast-casual better burger segment, provides Guests with a Seriously Fun new experience each month with innovative burgers, including the most recent Diablo Dog, as well as The Lean Green and The Sloppy Whoa. The monthly options have provided a financial boost for franchisees in the MOOYAH system as well, and the brand learned with its springtime Taste to Try, the Lent-friendly Meatless Beast, that seasonal tie-ins also pay off. Check averages with Taste to Try items were more than 40 percent higher than checks without during 2016, and the brand is improving on that success with a tantalizing lineup of new options continuing throughout 2017.
