August 22, 2017 // Franchising.com // Philadelphia, PA - Springboard, the only franchise event of its kind catering to new and emerging brands, is excited to announce Arby’s Founder Leroy Raffel as the keynote speaker for its 5th annual event in Philadelphia, September 25-27.
More than 50 years ago, Leroy and his late brother, Forrest, opened the first Arby’s restaurant in Ohio to provide an adult counterpart to many of the competing fast food brands catering to kids. Today, their brand has become the second largest quick-service/fast-food sandwich chain in the country, boasting over 3,300 units nationwide.
Leroy will speak to attendees about his obstacles, pitfalls and successes growing Arby’s to the household name it is today.
“We have proudly welcomed more than 1,200 attendees to this one-of-a-kind event over the past four years, and this year’s conference is shaping up to be our biggest one yet,” said Lane Fisher of franchise law firm Fisher Zucker, LLC. "We are thrilled to have such an impactful speaker at our annual conference. Not only has Leroy inspired so many others, but he knows what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur and achieve overall success in his personal and professional life.”
The Springboard Event for Emerging Franchisors is an annual event held in the City of Brotherly Love.
