Nation’s Restaurant News Recognizes Teriyaki Madness on “Next 20” List

Asian fast casual restaurant continues to ride wave of momentum with new openings, growing presence.

September 14, 2017 // Franchising.com // DENVER - Teriyaki Madness broke into the top half of the Inc. 5000 charts in August and now the emerging leader in the Asian fast casual food segment has found itself in another top-tier awards column. Nation’s Restaurant News, the restaurant industry’s premier publication for delivering news, data and analysis in the sector, placed Teriyaki Madness at No. 18 on its annual Next 20 list.

The Next 20 reveals emerging restaurants that are excelling in the spirit of innovation and execution and are gaining momentum nationwide.

Teriyaki Madness, which has grown at a remarkable 171 percent clip over the last three years, finds itself on the list for the first time as it nears 50 locations across 16 states, with 150 franchise agreements in place.

The next opening for Teriyaki Madness is scheduled for October 1 in Oklahoma City, another new market for the restaurant and 17th state overall.
