Home Franchise Concepts Breaks Ground on New Home Office and Franchise Support Center

Budget Blinds, Tailored Living and Concrete Craft executives gather to officially mark 25th anniversary

October 02, 2017 // Franchising.com // ORANGE, Calif. - Home Franchise Concepts (HFC) has officially marked its 25th anniversary and initiated construction of its state-of-the-art new home office and franchise training and support center in Irvine, Calf.

HFC is the franchisor of Budget Blinds®, Tailored Living® and Concrete Craft®, home-related goods and services brands that are consistently rated at the top in their respective categories and are supported by close to 1,400 franchise territories operating in nearly 10,000 cities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

During the Sept. 27 ceremony, Home Franchise Concepts executives, employees, vendors and members of the franchise advisory committee commemorated the company’s 25th year and kicked-off construction of its HFC Home Office and Franchise Support Center in MacArthur Plaza in Irvine, across from John Wayne Orange County Airport. The new office will be completed by April 1, 2018.

Senior HFC executives also signed a piece of commemorative concrete that will eventually be displayed in the new offices. They included Dan Tafoya, President of Tailored Living; Shirin Behzadi, CEO; Jennie Amante, VP and General Counsel; Gayle Milling, CMO; Thomas Hillebrandt, CFO; Tracy Christman, VP of Vendor Alliance, Budget Blinds; Jonathan Thiessen, VP of Franchise Licensing; and John Campbell, Senior VP of Vendor Alliance and Commercial, Budget Blinds.

The 38,094-square-foot space, significantly larger than the company’s current offices in Orange, will feature management offices, interactive product displays, and state-of-the-art training, education and support facilities for HFC franchise owners. The new office will constitute all of MacArthur Plaza’s first floor and most of the seventh floor.
