Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Second Jacksonville Location

December 28, 2017 // Franchising.com // JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Jacksonville on December 20. Operating Partner Krista McGuire held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, January 10 to Sunday, January 14 to support Jacksonville High School and Northside High School.

The new restaurant, located at 3494 Western Blvd., circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Jacksonville High School and Northside High School.

“I was initially attracted to Jersey Mike’s because of the company’s history and I like how they give back to the community,” said McGuire, who joined the team in July of this year. “I went to a culinary school at Johnson & Wales and received a degree in the food service industry. Before joining Jersey Mike’s, I had worked in various restaurant franchise companies as a manager in store level positions, which has given me the skills to operate this store.”

McGuire added, “For this grand opening, we will be supporting two local high schools. I’m an alumnus of Jacksonville High School and played soccer for the school. It’s very dear to my heart to be able to give back to this school and the Northside High School. We look forward to seeing everyone at the grand opening!”
