Gigi’s Cupcakes Announces Cedar Hill Signing

America’s largest cupcake franchise signs 16th location in Texas

January 03, 2018 // Franchising.com // CEDAR HILL, Texas - Gigi’s Cupcakes, the largest cupcake franchise in the country, is continuing its expansion across Texas with another new location opening in 2018. The Fort Worth-based company announced its newest signing in Cedar Hill, Texas. The store will be owned and operated by David and Michelle Muller of Cedar Hill, and is expected to open in early 2018.

Dallas natives, the Mullers both earned their Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. With their combined backgrounds in business, tech, and marketing, as well as Michelle’s love of baking, the Mullers wanted to use their experience to bring a new business to their community.

“When we looked at the brand and its overall concept, we knew Gigi’s Cupcakes was the perfect fit for our community and that we’d like to be a part of this successful, growing business,” said Michelle. “We can’t wait to open in Cedar Hill and share our love for Gigi’s Cupcakes with our friends and neighbors. With Gigi’s vast array of decadent treats, there is something on the menu to delight everyone.”

The Cedar Hill location is one of several Texas locations set to open in 2018, including Flower Mound, Pearland, and Bee Cave.

Best known for its signature "Gigi's swirl” and an incredible variety of gourmet, over-the-top cupcakes with icing piled high and exquisite decorations, the bakery offers a variety of gourmet desserts that guests will have the opportunity to try, including 300 rotating cupcake flavors with sugar free and gluten friendly options, mini cupcakes, custom cakes, cheesecakes and stuffed cookies.
