Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More® Looks to Make Impressions in Florida
Garment Franchise Ranked #1 by Entrepreneur Seeks to Add 30 Locations by 2019
July 03, 2018 // Franchising.com // Orlando, Fla. – Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More®, a locally-owned, high-technology garment decorating retail store where customers have the freedom to design their own apparel, today announces development plans to add 30 stores through strategic franchise partnerships over the next two years.
As the fast-growing and award-winning concept has swiftly expanded to more than 100 awarded locations in 24 states, Big Frog is now set to develop in the already established Florida market. There are currently 12 successful Big Frog locations open throughout the state. Kickstarting this new development push is a recent franchise agreement to open a new Big Frog location in Winter Garden/Ocoee this November.
This comes off of the heels of the recent Big Frog opening in Palm Coast. Already 10 weeks into its opening, store owner Mark Khadoo has found success in the market, partnering with local community organizations to grow the business. Since launching his Big Frog, Khadoo has used his business to partner with the Palm Coast “Relay For Life,” the City of Palm Coast’s Arbor Day Celebration, and several schools in the community.
“As a one-of-a-kind service provider, our location has received an incredible response from the Palm Coast community,” Khadoo stated. “Residents had to drive a couple hours to find a custom T-Shirts and outerwear before we opened. It’s been a thrill to be an active participant in so many events the city has to offer, and we’re excited to continue developing in such a viable market.”
Florida is an obvious and attractive market as the brand puts a refined focus on development in its hometown state. With a positive business climate, open real estate and a network of multiple successful franchises, Big Frog is seeking qualified franchise partners to open in key markets including Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Sarasota, Naples/Ft. Myers and the Panhandle.
“Florida is the number one t-shirt market in the United States, and our brand already has a strong name recognition in the state,” said Tina Bacon DeFrece, president of Big Frog. “We are eager to seek out and train enthusiastic local residents who want to bring Big Frog into their communities, and we will be hosting discovery meetings with prospective franchisees at our National Support Center in Delightful Dunedin on Friday July 27th, Monday August 6th and Monday August 27th. Please call for reservations!”
Big Frog combines creativity with cutting-edge technology and brings a personalized service to local markets. The unique design technology makes it a fast, individualized and convenient service that leaps beyond competition. The brand’s Direct to Garment (DTG) printing bonds the dye to the fabric’s molecules, allowing products to be washed in both hot and cold water and with color-safe bleaching without risking fading, cracking or peeling of the image. In less than ten years, the company has hit milestones not reached by many in the franchise space as it closed out 2017 by awarding its 100th unit and also was recognized by Entrepreneur as the #1 franchise in the garment retail industry.
The retailer remains one of the top franchise opportunities on the market. As the $50 billion garment decorating industry continues to grow, DeFrece believes that North America will be home to 300 Big Frog stores by 2020.
