Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Deer Park Location

August 13, 2018 // Franchising.com // DEER PARK, N.Y. - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Deer Park on August 8. Franchise owners Marvin Goldfarb, Mitch Cohen, Seth Goldstein and Alvin Goldstein held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, August 8 to Wednesday, August 15 to support Special Olympics of Long Island.

This is the 3rd Jersey Mike’s location for the long-time Long Island residents. They also own restaurants in Hauppauge and Port Jefferson Station, and plan to open a total of five locations. Pursuing a smart growth strategy, Jersey Mike’s now has 12 locally owned sub shops on Long Island, employing nearly 150 full- and part-time team members. Two more are scheduled to open by the end of the year.

“Interestingly, we are former Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees that are opening the 12th store on Long Island,” said Cohen. “That makes a dozen Jersey Mike’s Subs on Long Island! We look forward to getting to know our new neighbors in Deer Park, and introducing them to our authentic sub sandwiches.”

The new restaurant, located at 512 Commack Rd., circulated 5,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Special Olympics of Long Island.
