Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Big Bear Lake Location
October 01, 2018 // Franchising.com // BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Big Bear Lake on September 26. Franchise owners Crystal White, and Steve and Jolene Leonard held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, September 26 to Sunday, September 30 to support Friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo.
The new restaurant, located at 42173 1/2 Big Bear Blvd., circulated 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo.
“I started as a part-time employee at the Redlands location in February 2013,” said White. “I’ve been with Jersey Mike’s ever since then. Prior to Jersey Mike’s, I was a real estate appraiser and horse care taker. For this grand opening, we have partnered up with Friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo. They are very involved with the community and the community supports them so we figured this would be the perfect match for us! If you haven’t donated to them in the past, now is the perfect time to do so at our grand opening.” White’s favorite sub is the #8 Club Sub, a must try!
