Neighborly Announces Top Performers At Annual Conference

October 30, 2018 // Franchising.com // Neighborly, one of the world’s largest parent companies of home service brands, recently held its annual conference in Dallas, TX where franchisees nominated and awarded their top performers for significant accomplishments and contributions throughout the year.

Glass Doctor, Aire Serv, Rainbow International, Mr. Rooter Plumbing, Mr. Appliance and Window Genie, all recognized top award winners throughout the U.S. and Canada, including:

Glass Doctor

  • Franchisee of the Year: John & Susan Goldsmith, owner of Glass Doctor of North Vancouver: This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a franchisee. John and Susan Goldsmith (out of North Vancouver, Canada) first became Glass Doctor franchisees with the opening of their first location in in 2010. Today, the Goldsmiths currently own and operate four locations -- North Vancouver (est. 2010), Sunshine Coast (est. 2014), Langley (est. 2015) and Burnaby (est. 2018). John and Susan attribute a lot of their success to following best practices, utilizing the technology, infrastructure and software provided by the Glass Doctor system and working closely with other franchisees. In addition, the Goldsmiths have had to overcome some incredible geographical “challenges” (given that they are located on the Sunshine Coast, they are locked in by ocean and mountains). Due to this, they typically have to take a 45-minute ferry ride just to make many of their reservations.
  • Rookie of the Year: Stephen & Cyndi Poe, owners of Glass Doctor of Kingman, AZ and Josh & EmilyAnne Thomason, owners of Glass Doctor of Melbourne, FL. This year, Glass Doctor had some really incredible rookies, so much so that there was a tie. This award is to the franchisee who has demonstrated outstanding performance in sales and building their organizations in their first 12 months. Only franchisees in the system less than 18 months are eligible.
  • President’s Choice Award: Ed Sieber, owner of Glass Doctor of Charlotte, NC. The President’s Choice award is one that is not given out every year. It’s a special recognition for the franchisee, or employee, who epitomizes who Glass Doctor is, stands for the brands Code of Values and is a shining example of what every franchisee should strive to achieve.
