The WITT scholarship program, launched as a Neighborly initiative in 2012 by Neighborly Brand Ambassador Dina Dwyer-Owens, has awarded three women this upcoming semester each with a $1,500 scholarship that will go toward the pursuit of a degree from an accredited technical or trade school for future service professionals. To-date, the program has awarded more than $54,500 in scholarship funds to 45 recipients.
“The spring 2019 semester recipients of the WITT scholarship exemplify what we look for when choosing our winners, as they have demonstrated outstanding work, experience and passion for their chosen service trades industries,” said Dwyer-Owens, who also sits on the Neighborly Board. “Through this scholarship over the years, I have loved watching past recipients grow to be expert leaders in their respective fields. I am excited to see how this semester’s three recipients apply these scholarships toward their undoubtedly bright futures.”
