Jersey Mike's Subs Opens First Flossmoor Location

Franchise owner Mac Shimmon held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, May 1 to Sunday, May 5 to support Rich Central High School and the Park Lawn Organization.

The new restaurant, located at 3760 Vollmer Road, circulated 12,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Park Lawn and Rich Central High School.

“This will be our 17th Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurant in the Chicagoland area,” said Shimmon. “For this opening we have partnered up with Rich Central High School and the Park Lawn Organization. Supporting High School athletics, Music, educational programs, and Community Services connects us with our local residents and their families. Park Lawn is a non-profit organization in Illinois offering a variety of programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Park Lawn’s mission is to provide services that promote independence, choice and access to community living.

These partnerships allow us to truly become members of our community by allowing us to contribute to the success of our youth and those in need.”
