Scooter’s Coffee Opens First Location In Garden City

Store To Celebrate With Grand Opening On Saturday, August 24

August 13, 2019 // Franchising.com // Garden City, KS - Scooter’s Coffee, best known for its convenient drive-thru specialty coffee and baked-from-scratch pastries, added a new location to the state of Kansas with the company’s debut store in Garden City on East Mary St. and Campus Drive (2517 N Campus Dr.). To celebrate, the drive-thru coffee location will be hosting a Grand Opening on Saturday, August 24, with giveaways throughout the day.

“As we seek to increase our brand’s footprint in the Midwest, our goal is to find communities that have a pronounced need for drive-thru specialty coffee and also align well with our brand’s core values,” stated Mike Rogers, Chief Operating Officer of Scooter’s Coffee. “Garden City is the ideal fit for our company, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring the residents of this community our high-quality coffee, baked-from-scratch pastries and savory breakfast options.”

On Grand Opening Day, customers can expect to receive several fun giveaways.

• 10 a.m. – First 50 customers will receive a $5 Scooter’s Coffee gift card with purchase
• 1 p.m. – First 50 customers will receive a free Scooter’s Coffee tumbler with purchase
• 4 p.m. – First 50 customers will receive a free t-shirt with purchase

The new location is owned and operated by Donny and Lindsay Huber. The Huber’s also plan to open a location in Great Bend within the next month and Liberal by year end. “Lindsay and I were born and raised in Garden City. The thought of bringing a drive thru coffee chain to Garden City and surrounding areas has been a goal of ours for quite some time,” said Donny. “We chose Scooter’s Coffee because their core values align perfectly with ours, and we can’t wait to share them within the communities we will be serving.”
