Office Evolution Goes A Mile Higher With Denver Expansion
Coworking franchisor looking to service the Front Range with more Colorado locations
August 16, 2019 // Franchising.com // Louisville, Colo. – Office Evolution, the largest coworking franchisor in the U.S., is further expanding its footprint in Colorado by signing a development deal that will add to the current 13 open locations in Colorado and now two others in development – one by a different franchisee – in the Centennial State.
This coworking business is owned and operated by the husband-and-wife team of Dennis and Diane Mapes and will service small-business owners and clients in the North Denver and Front Range areas. The couple has signed a development deal for one location.
“After researching the rapid growth in the coworking industry, we decided this would be a great opportunity to own our own business,” said Diane. “After speaking with the Office Evolution team, we couldn’t wait to partner with this brand and bring coworking spaces to the North Denver area.”
Diane is no stranger to franchising. Prior to becoming an Office Evolution franchisee, Diane owned a preschool fitness franchise for 12 years. During that time, she increased program participation to over 36 daycares in her territory. She also has vast experience in the marketing and sales industries. Dennis has over 18 years of legal administration and human resources experience. He also has experience with office buildouts. The husband-and-wife team figured that the combination of their backgrounds creates a perfect management team for their Office Evolution locations.
Office Evolution, with 64 locations open and nearly 80 in various stages of development, is the largest coworking franchise and the fourth largest network in the U.S. The model is based on local owners who are committed to serving their community, backed by the resources and distribution of a national brand and network is unique to the category. With more than 24 million non-employer businesses in the U.S. and more than 3.5 million U.S. businesses with four employees or less, demand for shared office space is high.
“Diane and Dennis make another great addition to our ‘Ohana,’” Office Evolution Founder & CEO Mark Hemmeter said. “With Diane’s entrepreneurial spirit and professional background and Dennis’s experience in the human resources field, they will provide North Denver business owners with workspace and services that enhance local business performance.”
With dedicated work spaces, including private offices, conference rooms and shared workspace, Office Evolution has solutions for every business. There are also phone-answering services, address & mail services and other professional capabilities to make each small-business owner exceed their goals.
“We are very proud of the work our team has put into the proliferation of Office Evolution across Colorado,” Office Evolution COO and Global Workspace Association Board Member William Edmundson said. “Our rapidly expanding network of workspaces is home for business owners living in the suburbs who need a place to realize dreams; and the fact that we can add the Mapes into our ‘Ohana’ just strengthens Office Evolution as a whole.”
