Jersey Mike's Subs Opens Second Escondido Location

September 23, 2019 // Franchising.com // ESCONDIDO, Calif. - Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh sliced/fresh grilled subs, opened in Escondido on September 18. Franchise owners Steve Leonard, Fred Downey, and Drew Appel held a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from Wednesday, September 18 to Sunday, September 22 to support Valley Center High School & Escondido Charter High School.

The new restaurant, located at 1497 E. Valley Parkway, circulated 10,000 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to Valley Center High School & Escondido Charter High School.

“Making a difference in the community is a huge priority for our ownership group,” said Jolene Leonard, a Jersey Mike’s area director, and wife of co-owner Steve Leonard. “By choosing two local high schools, Escondido Charter High School and Valley Center High School, we believe we will make a significant financial impact for the students who attend these schools. We are very excited to open our second Jersey Mike’s location in Escondido and we look forward to continuing the strong relationships we’ve cultivated over the years!"
