Coworking franchisor continues expansion in Peach State

November 01, 2019 // Franchising.com // Louisville, Colo. - Office Evolution, the largest coworking franchisor in the U.S., is adding a new location in Georgia. This will be the brand’s third deal in the state, joining existing sites in Avalon Alpharetta and Dunwoody.

The newest Office Evolution location will be owned by partners Mark Gottlieb and Jackie Blyth. Though an address has yet to be announced, the duo is eyeing potential sites in Roswell, Chamblee, Brookhaven and Woodstock.

“We are proud to see the Office Evolution brand continue to grow in Georgia,” said Mark Hemmeter, founder and CEO of Office Evolution. “The Roswell, Chamblee and Woodstock markets are full of small businesses and independent employers that are ready to grow their business and take their operations to the next level. Franchise partners such as Jackie and Mark who combine their valuable business experience with their dedication to serve their local business communities are what make Office Evolution so special. We are proud to welcome them to our Ohana (Hawaiian for ‘family’).”

Gottlieb has plenty of experience in the real estate and development industry. He founded MetroGroup Development in 1997, a real estate development firm that services clients such as CVS Pharmacy, Chase Bank, Family Dollar, and Cumberland Farms. Over the past 22 years, Gottlieb has guided MetroGroup in its development of 5 million square feet of commercial real estate throughout the Southeast market. Blyth currently serves as the Director of Vertical Markets at Convey Services, which is a software development company. She began working at Convey Services when it was a startup, so she understands what small businesses and independent employers need to make their business a success.

“I have experience working at a startup company, and I plan on using that experience to help us make our Office Evolution location successful,” said Blyth. “Office Evolution is a proven brand that helps elevate small businesses and we are very excited to help out our local business communities.”

“We are passionate about the Office Evolution concept and are driven to support local businesses and independent owners grow their operations,” Gottlieb stated. “Office Evolution isn’t just another business, it is an important fiber in the business communities they serve. They are dedicated to helping the businesses they serve take the next step and achieve their dreams.”

Office Evolution, with 64 locations open and nearly 80 in various stages of development, is the largest coworking franchise and the fourth largest network in the U.S. The model is based on local owners who are committed to serving their community, backed by the resources and distribution of a national brand and network is unique to the category. With more than 24 million non-employer businesses in the U.S. and more than 3.5 million U.S. businesses with four employees or less, demand for shared office space is high.

“We are proud of Mark and Jackie for continuing the growth of the Office Evolution brand in the Georgia market,” Office Evolution COO and Global Workspace Association Board Member William Edmundson said. “Mark’s business knowledge combined with Jackie’s startup experience will be a great asset for local business owners to utilize in their brand’s growth. We are confident that they will not only make their Office Evolution location a success, but will also play a vital role in the elevation of the local business communities.”

With dedicated work spaces, including private offices, conference rooms and shared workspace, Office Evolution has solutions for every business. There are also phone-answering services, address & mail services and other professional capabilities to make each small-business owner exceed their goals.
