Huddle House Launches 2020 Multi-Unit Incentive Program
Leading Full-Service Restaurant Concept Rolls Out Discounted Franchise Fee and Royalties Benefits for Multi-Unit Deals Signed By End of April 2020
February 19, 2020 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - Huddle House announced today a multi-unit incentive program designed to drive the brand’s strategic growth for 2020 by offering significant financial incentives for both current and prospective franchisees who execute at least three franchise agreements for new restaurants by April 30, 2020.?
“We have set clear goals for growth in 2020 and we want to give both our existing franchisees and prospective candidates the chance to deepen their portfolio with incentives that will make growing their Huddle House enterprise more attractive than ever before,” said Tim Linderman, Chief Development Officer for Huddle House. “Our focus is on incentivizing our multi-unit prospects and existing franchisees, which has always been our strongest avenue for growth as a brand. The more we can support our multi-unit franchisees in their goals to open multiple units in their communities, the higher we soar as a franchise family.”
The program’s financial incentives include a discounted initial franchise fee and royalties for franchisees who sign at least three franchise agreements by April 30, 2020. Franchisees pay a development fee of $12,500 per unit at signing. An accelerator bonus is also available for franchisees that meet development schedule milestones; Huddle House will waive the balance of the franchise fee of $12,500 per unit (due prior to lease or purchase) and offer 0% royalty for each store the first 12 months it’s operating under the development agreement.
“This multi-unit inventive program is only the beginning of a robust stage of franchise growth for Huddle House in 2020,” said Michael Abt, President and CEO of Huddle House. “We are laying the groundwork for more franchisees, both existing and prospective, to establish themselves as the face of Huddle House in more communities across the country by incentivizing multi-unit agreements.”
The multi-unit incentive offer for 2020 builds on the success of the Evolution Remodel Incentive Program, which offers a financial incentive to franchisees who completed an Evolution 2000 remodel of an existing unit.
“By the end of April, we expect to see many individuals taking advantage of this incentive and enjoying the returns of reduced initial franchise fees and royalties,” added Linderman. “We’ve rolled out strong incentive programs in the past and the 2020 Growth Incentive Offer is building upon the success of previous initiatives in order to allow us to deepen our footprint and build momentum early in the year.”
The growth incentive offer announcement comes as Huddle House announced during its 2019 fiscal year (May 2018 – April 2019) that the brand expanded its footprint with a roster of new units. There are currently more than 400 Huddle House restaurants open or in development across the United States.
