Franchising.com Named #1 Lead Conversion Site by FranConnect

With so many companies working with reduced sales staff and smaller budgets, sifting through hundreds or thousands of leads that never pan out is not an option. Sales departments must maximize their resources by finding qualified prospects to contact.

Franchising.com, hosted by Franchise Update Media, provided the highest-quality leads among the top franchise sales portals for calendar year 2019, according to the 2020 Franchise Sales Index Report from leading franchise management software provider FranConnect. This is the second consecutive year Franchising.com has proven the #1 source for prospect lead-to-deal conversions.

Franchising.com, devoted exclusively to franchise brands, had a prospect lead-to-deal conversion rate of 2.3% (up 27% from 1.8% the previous year). This is 2.5 times greater than the second-place portal, Entrepreneur (0.9%) and 4.6 times greater than third-place finisher Franchise Direct (0.5%). In fact, Franchising.com's score is greater than the remainder of the top five combined.

For greater context, Franchising.com's conversion rate was 7.6 times better than the average for all portals (0.3%) in the extensive survey. For additional perspective, the report found that nearly one-third of leads (29.1%) come from portals.

Franchising.com also rated in the top four sources for total deals and percentage of deals.

The findings, representing aggregated and anonymized data from 597 brands, were announced April 30, 2020 during a webinar hosted by Keith Gerson, President of Franchise Operations at FranConnect.
