BODYBAR Pilates Extending Presence in Idaho
Reformer Pilates Franchise Targets Boise in Strategic Growth Initiative
October 13, 2020 // Franchising.com // BOISE, Idaho - As BODYBAR Pilates (BODYBAR) tones up for its next phase of growth, it has announced plans to expand into the Boise area.
After solidifying its place as a top boutique fitness concept in the DFW Metroplex, the brand is catapulting the craze into new markets, including Boise. Blending its focus on strength, toning and modern movement with a warm, welcoming, spa-like environment, BODYBAR creates a Pilates experience unlike any other. It is all centered on fostering a destination where a community of members can come together daily to maintain sound mind, body and spirit.
Today’s expansion announcement comes amid an already strong year for the brand. Since the end of July, BODYBAR Pilates has awarded 11 new territories with development continuing throughout the country.
With multiple franchise agreements already in place to open locations in Atlanta, Salt Lake City and Boston, BODYBAR now has its sight set on opening in Boise. Additional key expansion territories include Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Kansas City, Oklahoma City, Phoenix and Tampa. Plus, new units are planned in its home DFW market - Keller and Southlake.
“As we continue to expand the BODYBAR movement across the United States, we’ve identified Boise as the linchpin in our strategic growth initiative,” said Matt McCollum, CEO of BODYBAR Pilates. “We’re incredibly proud of the communities we’ve already built. But, now is the time to channel this energy and share the transformative shift that BODYBAR fosters with people in Boise.”
Using core Pilates principals, each 40 to 50-minute BODYBAR Pilates class is designed to provide a full-body workout that is high-intensity, low-impact and perfect for increasing flexibility, muscle strength, posture and boosting overall health. Whether a member is a 70-year-old wellness guru, a 40-something working parent, or a 25-year-old who is just getting started, the BODYBAR workout can be customized to meet everyone’s personal fitness goals. From single-use equipment that is disinfected between each workout to appropriate spacing of the reformers and ample time between classes, BODYBAR remains committed to providing a safe environment for its clients to practice Pilates. Furthermore, it recently launched its virtual platform, BODYBAR Live. Those who do not feel comfortable returning to the studio can book live streams on the platform or access pre-recorded classes on-demand. With the virtual class option and strategic number of reformers in-studio, BODYBAR franchise owners are able to maximize revenue and hold a competitive advantage over others in the Reformer Pilates space.
As BODYBAR builds its franchise system, it is seeking qualified franchise prospects eager to help fuel the growth of the emerging franchise. Ideal BODYBAR franchisees include driven entrepreneurs who possess a pioneer mindset and have an interest in the fitness industry. They must see BODYBAR as an investment opportunity and recognize that investing in a smaller footprint means they can own a larger piece of the market.
The investment range for a BODYBAR Pilates studio is a $200,000 to $400,000 and prospective owners must have a minimum of $100,000 in liquid capital to be eligible. BODYBAR provides franchisees with comprehensive opening training and support as well as ongoing guidance to ensure the continued success of their business.
