Jim Rouse Joins Express as New Vice President of Information Technology
In this role, Rouse will play a key and strategic role in building in efficiencies of scale and security into all Express provides to their Franchisees.

With over 20 years experience in both the private and public sector, Rouse’s background is in the areas of information technology, cybersecurity, networking and law enforcement, specializing in cybercrimes and operations. A former Special Agent of the Unites States Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) and a U.S. Army Medic, Rouse has worked in and around emerging technologies, capabilities and digital technologies throughout his career.
Most recently, Rouse served as the Consulting Director at the Crypsis Group specializing in Cloud Security architecture, digital transformation, securing cloud deployments and virtual CISO. Prior to the Crypsis Group, Jim was the Chief Information Security Officer for Gemini Trust Company, a cryptocurrency exchange and custodial service.
A frequent author and commenter who has built information technologies for entities throughout the world, Jim’s experience will help Express implement and deploy new digital solutions safely and securely.
