LunchboxWax Continues Northwest Expansion; Announces First Eugene Location

Entrepreneurial Team Signs Multi-Unit Agreement To Bring Three Waxing Salons to the Beaver State

November 11, 2020 // Franchising.com // BOISE, Idaho - LunchboxWax, “an all-inclusive place for Every Body,” will open its third Oregon location in the community of Eugene.

Expanding rapidly across the Inland Northwest, the premier full-service, speed-waxing salon announced a multi-unit signed agreement with Eugene local Jessica Carson and former resident Jen Barnett to open three locations in the state. The first Eugene salon is expected to open summer of 2021.

After supporting a friend’s LunchboxWax opening in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Jen was inspired to open a salon of her own with Jessica. The brand’s solid business model, reputation for providing guests with an exceptional waxing experience and the opportunity to give back to the Eugene community were the three key elements that caused the duo to sign on.

“Experiencing my friend Brandie’s success with her salon opening this summer was exciting. I saw first-hand how customers fell in love with LunchboxWax and the services offered, and knew it would be the perfect business for Jessica and I to invest in,” said Jen Barnett, a current stay at home mom. “Jessica and I felt a connection to LunchboxWax’s culture and the fact that women’s business empowerment is at its core. We are looking forward to opening our Eugene salon soon to engage and serve this amazing community.”

The forthcoming LunchboxWax salons will offer a full range of hair removal services from top to toes, bottoms to brows and cheeks to chest. Using its proprietary three-step speed-waxing process, LunchboxWax has a “soft wax” technique that is more effective and less painful than traditional waxing. As the local owners, the duo will be leading waxologist recruitment, prioritizing talented estheticians that are passionate about providing an unparalleled guest experience. They will also oversee daily business operations to ensure exceptional service.

“In Jen and Jessica, we have found two women who embody the entrepreneurial spirit of our brand. Their enthusiasm for LunchboxWax’s mission and drive to give back to the residents of Eugene is wonderful,” said Christo Demetriades, COO of LunchboxWax. “Their knowledge of the area will help our brand following increase, inviting new guests to experience our chic services for themselves. We look forward to working closely with them as they enter the salon business and promote the values of self-care in Oregon.”
