Strickland Brothers Expands Footprint In The Lone Star State

December 22, 2020 // Franchising.com // Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change is excited to announce yet another set of  franchise owners in Texas, husband and wife, Sheldon and Amanda Unruh. The couple state “We moved from Wichita, Kansas to San Antonio Texas a little over 2 years ago and are becoming established in the community here. We relocated for Sheldon's role in the oil and gas industry where he's been most of his career. He began in pipeline operations and held several different roles throughout the years, and is currently in a customer-facing logistics role where he manages pipeline movements. Amanda graduated with an MBA in the spring 2020 and has held professional roles in human resources, recruiting, and retail management, but has been a stay-at-home mom for the last couple years.” The couple are set to open three Strickland Brothers service centers in the San Antonio area.

When they aren’t hard at work they enjoy spending time with family, outdoors, boating, and traveling. Amanda has spent time volunteering and coaching, and would love to get back to that soon. They desired to become entrepreneurs because “Sheldon comes from a family of business owners and has always had the desire to be an entrepreneur. We are both leaders and desire to build a business that provides a needed service to our community with a better customer experience than the competition. We look forward to making a difference in the lives of our team and employees while building a better future for our family.” And they feel they have found the perfect match with their Strickland Brothers franchise. Sheldon and Amanda stated, “The simplified, yet innovative and optimized approach to a recession-resistant industry.
