Sweet Paris Baybrook Celebrates Official Grand Reopening and One Year Anniversary in Friendswood, TX

Sweet Paris Crêperie and Café Offers Special Events after Pandemic Interrupted Original Grand Opening Plans

February 17, 2021 // Franchising.com // FRIENDSWOOD, TX - Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café opened a new location in Friendswood’s Baybrook Mall in mid-March 2020 - then COVID stalled the store’s official Grand Opening celebrations. Now the Baybrook Mall location is open to the public with preventative measures and ready to celebrate, leading up to the location’s one year anniversary on March 16, 2021.

“When COVID hit, we did not have the same opportunity as previous locations to officially celebrate our 9th Crêperie,” said Allison Chavez, Sweet Paris co-founder. “We are excited for the Sweet Paris in Baybrook Mall to reopen, share the concept and revive the art of eating crepes with the Friendswood community. We want guests to know they can still visit us in a healthy and safe environment.”

Sweet Paris Baybrook’s Strategic Partner, Ludovic (Ludo) Le Gall was born and raised in Brittany, the northwestern region of France and home to the art of crêpes. After a long road to initially opening, and now reopening, he is ready to celebrate the location’s one year anniversary – especially on their 1,000 sq. ft. patio. Guests can learn more about the festivities and promotions to make up for last year’s unexpected closure by signing up for the Sweet Paris Passport, which gives members the latest scoop on “secret” promotions, new menu items and exciting events.

The Baybrook location is 2,631 sq. ft. and has access to The Lawn, a huge green outdoor area on the outside of Baybrook Mall. As one of the largest Sweet Paris locations with an upstairs, the restaurant hopes to hold private events in the future. These unique features highlight the brand’s commitment to provide a French-inspired, Instagram worthy experience to pair with dishes that are as delicious as they are beautiful.

Sweet Paris was founded in 2012 by Allison and Ivan Chavez to “Revive the Art of Eating Crêpes” one crêperie at a time. The brand has quickly become one of the hottest restaurant franchises in Houston with an extravagant ambiance and delicious food and drinks made of the highest quality ingredients and bold flavors.

Sweet Paris’ menu contains items to please any guest’s appetite, including crêpes, waffles, salads, paninis, soups, milkshakes, mimosas, frozen mimosas and hot espresso and Nutella drinks. Families, friends and couples can enjoy their artful and tasty food and drinks in a beautiful setting for breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner or dessert. Also, when guests purchase a crêpe sold with the food bank logo on the menu, Sweet Paris donates one meal to children in need through its “Eat Here, Feed There” initiative. So far, Sweet Paris has donated 259,167 meals to fight world hunger.

The Baybrook Mall location is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. for dine-in and carryout orders. Guests can also order delivery and pick-up online and third-party delivery services such as Uber Eats, Door Dash and Grubhub.

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, Sweet Paris has implemented robust health and safety protocols – including frequent cleaning and sanitizing, required face coverings for all employees and guests, practicing social distancing, parties limited to 10 people or fewer, individually packaged utensils, and more – so guests can feel comfortable at the restaurant.
