Chicago Location Achieves Continued Growth and Success Throughout Its First Year In Business

March 10, 2021 // Franchising.com // CHICAGO, IL - Mayweather Boxing + Fitness - a group fitness and boxing experience created by legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather - is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its downtown Chicago Studio, which has continued to experience growth and success. Throughout 2020, the Studio surpassed sales and membership goals, with growth projections anticipated to steadily rise this year.

“The biggest opportunities often come from the biggest challenges,” said James Williams, CEO of Mayweather Boxing + Fitness. “Over the past year, we have adapted as a brand and developed our model further to set our franchisees up for even greater success as fitness markets open up in 2020. Sara, our Chicago franchisee, has brought an incredible, diverse, supportive fitness community to Chicago, and has proven to be a very talented and passionate operator. We look forward to witnessing her continued growth in the downtown Chicago location; and are particularly excited for her to open her next location later this year.”

The Chicago Studio was opened by franchisee Sara McSpedon last March and it has quickly become a staple fitness studio in the area. This past year was a true testament to the strength of the community, the local team and the Mayweather Boxing + Fitness brand, as members from all corners of the Chicagoland area continued to take classes, burn calories and support one another.

In honor of their anniversary, the Chicago Studio will host celebratory activities throughout the weekend of March 13-14th, including a LIVE DJ, additional socially distant boxing classes, giveaways and more.

The downtown Chicago Studio was the first to open in the Midwest and is the first of several locations McSpedon plans to open in the area, with the additional Studios anticipated to open later this year.
