Perkins Hosts Strawberry Fresh-tival® to Welcome Sweet Summertime
Fan Favorite Menu Returns with Fresh Additions
May 19, 2021 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - With springtime in full bloom, Perkins Restaurant & Bakery has some “berry” good news to share. The homestyle restaurant has announced the harvest of its limited time Strawberry Fresh-tival® menu, featuring fresh additions to their classic breakfast and lunch lineup. These sweet strawberries are farm fresh, harvested at the peak of picking season and are available at all Perkins locations nationwide through the end of June.
For breakfast, customers can start their day off deliciously with four fan-favorite platters. Guests have the option of indulging in the flaky Fresh Strawberry Croissant French Toast Platter, the made-from-scratch Fresh Strawberry Belgian Waffle Platter, the decadent Fresh Strawberry Crepes Platter or the classic stack of the Fresh Strawberry Buttermilk Pancake Platter. Each hearty meal is topped with fresh glazed strawberries, powdered sugar and whipped topping. These delicious entrees are accompanied by two eggs served any-style, and a choice of Applewood smoked bacon or pork sausage links.
For a lighter take on lunch, the fruit’s natural sweetness has been harnessed in two fresh spinach salad options. The Fresh Strawberry Spinach Salad includes delicious bites of classic Butterball® turkey, while the Fresh Strawberry Spinach Salad & Chicken Salad Croissant combo features a chicken salad croissant loaded with a blend of roasted pulled chicken, red grapes, celery and walnuts. Both salads are tossed with fresh strawberries, Applewood smoked bacon, red onions, tomatoes and avocado, and drizzled with a tasty Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing.
Since no meal is complete without treats from Perkins bakery, this promotion features two annual favorites. Fresh Strawberry Pie features fresh glazed strawberries layered with Bavarian cream in a flaky pie crust, and the Strawberry Cream Cheese Mammoth Muffin® is baked with loads of strawberries and topped off with strawberry cream cheese icing. It is now easier than ever for guests to enjoy Perkins favorites, as all entrees and bakery treats are available for dine-in or curbside pickup and delivery.
