Huddle House Opens 41st Alabama Restaurant in Centreville

Veteran Begins Small Business Ownership Journey by Bringing Highly Anticipated “Any Meal, Any Time” Diner Concept to Bibb County

December 08, 2021 // Franchising.com // CENTREVILLE, Ala. - The wait is over, Centreville. Huddle House is officially here!

Huddle House, the nation’s iconic all-day breakfast restaurant and neighborhood gathering place, is officially opening for business in the Centreville community. The new location is set to open on Thursday, December 9, and is conveniently located at 901 Birmingham Rd, marking the 41st Alabama-based restaurant for the brand.

The diner will be locally owned and operated by military veteran and new business owner Adam Ritch. Ritch, who gained a strong understanding of effective leadership and management skills during his years in the armed forces, looks forward to providing the Centreville community with a new breakfast gathering spot. Having grown up in a small-town in Alabama himself, Ritch understands first-hand the importance of building a strong community bond through food. With his wife and five kids at his side, Ritch looks forward to creating new employment opportunities for those in the area, truly becoming a community partner.

“I’m very excited to bring Huddle House to Centreville as it will not only be an investment in myself as an entrepreneur, but also one into this growing community. Throughout each step of the process, I have been extremely impressed with the Huddle House leadership team’s level of support to ensure that our entrance into the system is seamless,” said Adam Ritch, owner of the Centreville restaurant. “The team’s hands-on approach from selecting our restaurant site to marketing our location has been a huge help as I enter the realm of restaurant ownership. I’m looking forward to serving the Centreville community by not only providing them with quality homestyle meals, but supporting the local economy as well.”

To ensure that customers can enjoy their homestyle meals safely, the Huddle House team has adapted the dining experience to create a safe and enjoyable environment for customers and employees. In addition to dining in, customers in Centreville can enjoy Huddle House at home and on-the-go by ordering online through the Huddle House app. The Huddle House app is available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

“We’re excited to have Adam join Huddle House given his strong leadership experience and understanding of how to effectively manage a team. As a brand who greatly values hard work and the sacrifice of those who have served, we feel honored to have Adam leading the charge as we expand into Centreville,” said Peter Ortiz, Chief Development Officer of Huddle House. “We’re confident that the new restaurant will flourish with Adam at the helm and that the community will find that a new gathering place for every occasion has successfully arrived.”

As he looks ahead, Ritch plans to open four additional Huddle House locations. The brand’s flexible formats and access to the $285 billion breakfast segment make the concept an exciting prospect for multi-unit operators looking to diversify. Huddle House’s delicious all-day breakfast, Southern hospitality and big portions at fair prices allow the restaurant to embed itself into every community it serves by bringing friends and families together over delicious food, served from the heart.

Based in Atlanta, the brand has more than 300 locations open or in development.
