The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill Announces First San Antonio Area Location at Alamo Ranch

Local entrepreneur and businessman, Satheesh Mammen, will open his first location in early 2022.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, December 08, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ - The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant is opening its first franchise San Antonio, TX area location at 11647 Culebra Road.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is one of several investments the Mammen family, who are the franchise owners of the San Antonio location, have made in the local community. Their decision to put great food and quality at the top of their list when choosing their newest adventure is a reflection of the many community-based decisions they have made in their careers.

The Mammen family are a heart-warming example of the American dream. Satheesh Mammen and his wife, Sosamma emigrated to the US from India in 1980, dreaming of success and looking forward to the day they could give back. They deeply believe in "love your neighbor as yourself" and regularly dedicate their resources to support many causes including providing school supplies, college tuition, relief for medical bills, summer camp programs, housing, and flood relief through charitable organizations, and often directly to recipients.

When the Mammens first arrived in the US, they both had various jobs washing dishes and working in manufacturing. They were passionate about education and worked hard, seven days a week, while earning their college degrees and raising their young family. After college, Satheesh worked his way up corporate ladder while Sosamma worked as a nurse and in 1995, Satheesh began opening businesses of his own. "We are very excited and look forward to our new adventure with The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, especially since it is a part of the Alamo Ranch Community that we have grown to love," stated Satheesh Mammen.

The award-winning chef inspired menu at The Great Greek, features homegrown recipes and big bold flavors like the fan favorite traditional Gyro (Yee-Ro) as well as Lamb, Steak and Chicken Souvlaki platters. In addition, guests crave the four-signature house-made dips featuring Hummus, Tzatziki, Melitzanosalata and Tirokafteri (spicy roasted red pepper) as well as the made to order Fresh Feta Fries. Guests can also indulge in the must-have desserts like Baklava Ice Cream or Rice Pudding. The Great Greek offers a wide variety of customizable options for guests to enjoy, including a classic Greek Salad with a choice of Salmon, Shrimp, or several other protein choices. Everything is prepared in-house with fresh ingredients that bring traditional flavors from recipes passed down generation after generation.
