Ori'Zaba's Scratch Mexican Grill Announces New Initiative To Recognize U.S. Military Members Year Round

Beginning in 2022, Ori'Zaba's corporate will select a charity each quarter that benefits veteran-related causes in order to give back and show support for the military community.

LAS VEGAS, NV, January 11, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ - Ori'Zaba's announces its latest initiative to show appreciation to veterans year round. Beginning in 2022, Ori'Zaba's corporate will select a charity each quarter that benefits veteran-related causes in order to give back and show support for the military community.

"As a veteran-owned business, we felt a once a year acknowledgement didn't suffice. We wanted to embed gratitude for our military into our company culture, continuously recognizing our military members for their service." said Ori'Zaba's Senior Director, Business Product Management Jen Howell.

"Whether active, reserved, or retired, all U.S. Military members mean the world to us."

The inaugural charity, That Others May Live Foundation, is based in Henderson, NV and was founded in 2002 to provide support to the U.S. Air Force Rescue community and their surviving family members.

"What makes this country so great are our heroes," said Terri Wallace, Executive Director of That Others May Live Foundation. "This is a great way for Ori'Zaba's to show its appreciation to our veterans year round by welcoming them in, wrapping their arms around them, and humbly thanking them for their service," Wallace added.

Supporting Military causes is near and dear to Ori'Zaba's co-founder, Kori McClurg, who served in the U.S. Air Force as an analyst and flight test engineer. While stationed at Edwards Air Force Base (AFB) and Nellis AFB, Kori specialized in electronic warfare testing, specifically radio frequency and infrared aircraft defensive countermeasures.

Along with its latest charitable endeavor, the franchise also provides veterans a ten percent discount off in-store orders every day, all year long, when presenting a military ID. Veterans also receive a free meal annually on Veterans Day with military ID.

"We see many veterans daily at Ori'Zaba's and we are happy we can now show our gratitude every time we serve them," Howell said.

Since 2001, the Mexican food franchise has specialized in fresh, scratch made Mexican meals. Their commitment to preparing ingredients fresh every day and never using freezers has cultivated a dedicated fan base who rely on Ori'Zaba's for healthy, hearty, and authentic meals.
