Fans and Media are invited to celebrate while indulging in Free Poutine as they watch Apoorva Srivastava, Consul General of India in Toronto and Ryan Smolkin, Chief Entertainment Officer (CEO), Smoke’s Poutinerie, mark the occasion by making what Amitabh Srivastava calls the Tiranga Poutine; a dish that he has developed to pay tribute to the year-long celebration showcasing India’s independence.

Amitabh Srivastava shares, “This 75th Independence year is being marked by special events and celebrations world-wide, my family and I wanted to bring this home to our community here in Mississauga and honour Consul General Apoorva Srivastava by presenting her with Canada’s National Dish of Fresh Hand-Cut Fries, Squeaky Cheese Curds & Smoke’s Signature Piping Hot Gravy and loading it with ingredients that feature the colours in the Indian flag. We are hosting this event to recognize Canada’s longstanding friendship with India and our multi-cultural community here in Mississauga. We are excited to host Apoorva at our restaurant and provide her with a truly Canadian Experience!”

Smoke’s Poutinerie Mississauga City Centre invites Fans and Media to join them for this special presentation on Friday April 22, 2022 from 5-7pm; all those who attend will receive a Free Snack-Size Traditional Poutine and have the opportunity to meet Apoorva Srivastava, Consul General of India in Toronto, Ryan Smolkin, CEO/Founder, Smoke’s Poutinerie and Franchise Owner/Operator, Amitabh Srivastava.
