Golden Chick’s Bill & Chad Glendening Recognized as a 2022 Franchise Rock Star by Franchise Business Review

July 29, 2022 // Franchising.com // DALLAS - Golden Chick’s Bill and Chad Glendening were identified by franchise research firm, Franchise Business Review, as being one of 2022’s Franchise Rock Stars.

The Glendening’s were selected from over 30,000 franchisees, representing more than 300 brands that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research.

The Franchise Rock Stars were nominated by their franchise brand’s leadership in one of eight categories as franchisees who set admirable examples when it comes to leadership, business acumen, financial and professional success, and contributing to their community. Categories included: Giving Back, Women, Millennials, Veterans, Family-Owned, “Freshmen”, Top-Performers, and Multi-Unit Owners.

Bill and Chad Glendening are a father and son duo that own and operate six Golden Chick franchise locations across Central Texas. Bill purchased his first location over 30 years ago and since then, has cultivated a true culture of excellence and was recently placed into the Golden Chick Hall of Fame. To keep a focus on high-level strategy and oversight, Bill tapped his son, Chad, to join the leadership team and take over day-to-day operations.

Through the partnership, the duo has consistently maintained stellar sales, with their locations top in terms of sales. In addition to strong sales results, Bill and Chad are constantly keeping a pulse on the industry and new ways to make their restaurants even more successful including implementing online ordering platform systems quickly during the pandemic.
