New Book Helps People Reimagine and Reclaim the Life of their Dreams

February 24, 2023 // Franchising.com // SOUTHBURY, Conn. – The Entrepreneur’s Source® (TES) recently debuted a new guidebook, “Your Career Revolution: Reimagine and Reclaim the Life of Your Dreams” to help people explore their options, possibilities, and dreams.

Seventy five percent of the adult population has a strong to very strong desire to become self-sufficient. But why do so few people act on that desire?

The Entrepreneur’s Source has more than 150 Career Ownership Coaches across the nation ready to help people challenge the status quo and explore their possibilities, options and dreams. This is why TES debuted this new book, to help people push the boundaries, inspire them to dream and discover what is possible.

“Your Career Revolution: Reimagine and Reclaim the Life of Your Dreams” gives people permission to dream like when they were a kid and failure was not an option. It helps them to explore new career paths to make their dreams a reality. Terry Powell, the Founder of The Entrepreneur’s Source along with all the Entrepreneur’s Source Career Ownership Coaches authored their new book to spark a revolution of sorts.

This is a great new resource for those who are ready to take personal responsibility and seize the opportunity to reimagine and reclaim the life of their dreams by leveraging The Entrepreneur’s Source coaches and their time-tested resources. Reading this new book is a great first step for people who are feeling battered and bruised in their corporate job or who feel their current career is not getting them to where they want to go. It is demoralizing to feel as if one is trapped on the career hamster wheel, and this is what this book is about. It focuses on learning and exploring what it will take to achieve the American Dream.

“Our new book will challenge your current career perceptions and help you discover new pathways to achieve your Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity goals, probably in ways you never imagined,” Powell said. “What do you have to lose by educating yourself and becoming aware of what it will take to become self-sufficient and experience financial freedom? Hundreds of people attended the book’s global launch party last November, either virtually from across the country or at The Entrepreneur’s Source home office in Southbury, Connecticut. During the livestream event, TES revealed the book cover to the world. One month prior at their annual conference, the TES coaching community received a copy of the manuscript for review and final input. Although the cover art had yet to be decided, the coaches got to cast their vote, and the winning cover was revealed during the launch.

“We timed the launch of the book around what we call Founder’s Day”, said Tamara Loring, in charge of The Entrepreneur’s Source Brand Ideology. “This was a way for our entire coaching community to pay respect and show our gratitude to Terry Powell, our founder, because without him an organization like ours would not exist. One of the reasons Terry founded The Entrepreneurs’ Source is that he believes everyone has a dream that is worth pursuing. As a matter of fact, he identifies with being a dreamer himself.”

The new book is a follow-up to an earlier version published shortly after the Great Recession in 2008, when subprime mortgages tanked the stock market and millions of Americans lost their jobs. Hardworking Americans were still struggling to find job security in corporate America when the pandemic outbreak in 2020 set the world on edge once again and prompted yet another change in the American workforce.

During the Great Resignation in 2021, more than 47.8 million people in the United States quit their jobs to explore better opportunities.

As was the case during the great recession, the pandemic caused people’s attitudes towards work and life to shift once again. The coaches at the Entrepreneur’s Source say they hear this all the time, and the fact that most people want more control over their lives and their future. This book can spark some ideas of what the path to self-sufficiency and financial freedom may look like.
