Hounds Town USA Opens New Location in Dayton

March 03, 2023 // Franchising.com // DAYTON, OH – Dayton pets are in for a treat with a new and unique pet care experience coming to town

Hounds Town USA announced today the opening of its newest location in Dayton, which will be conveniently situated in a retail and business area at 3076 Woodman Drive. The new Hounds Town USA location is owned and operated by Rebecca Ridenour and is expected to open on February 25.

Hounds Town USA is a pet care business, with services that include interactive dog daycare, luxury boarding, and stress-free spa services. Supervised by a well-trained staff, dogs are able to play all-day, providing both physical and mental stimulation, with a group of dogs that match their size and temperament for safe and fun socialization - guaranteeing a Hounds Town Hangover when pets go home. Hounds Town USA has a no breed discrimination policy, making it easier for pet owners to find reliable care. For feline lovers, Hounds Town USA offers specially-designed, cat condos for overnight boarding as well.

“When I decided to pursue ownership in the pet care space, I was immediately drawn to Hounds Town USA because of the welcoming and interactive environment,” said Ridenour. “Hounds Town is a dog-first experience, and I look forward to providing an interactive daycare for all-day play and boarding for the pets in the community. I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet as many dogs as possible in this much needed service space.”

Ridenour comes from 29 years of experience in the government industry, and was driven to invest in the Hounds Town USA brand for its commitment to providing quality care to dogs. Ridenour originally found Hounds Town USA while struggling to find a local daycare for her two German Shorthair Pointers. Ridenour will operate the store alongside her nephew and trusted store manager, Brandur Bogason. Bogason has years of experience in various roles, cultivating a strong management and operations skillset. Both Ridenour and Bogason recognized the need for a dedicated dog daycare facility in Dayton that provided a higher level of care to the community’s pets, which is what they aim to offer at the new Hounds Town USA location.

“At Hounds Town USA, we do it for the dogs and we’re thrilled that Rebecca is able to offer services to the pet owners in Dayton,” said Jackie Bondanza, CEO of Hounds Town USA.
