Krystal Tests New Big Burger

Now you know, Krystal launches new menu innovations

March 14, 2023 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA - Krystal is going bigger and welcoming its newest product – the Big Burger. Krystal encourages fans to stay tuned on its social media channels because Big Burger is only a temporary name. Krystal will use fans feedback to choose an official name prior to the system-wide launch. The new menu is currently testing in 31 select locations in Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.

Krystal has previously offered a larger burger and understands fans are craving to have the option back. So, Krystal came back to market and delivered flavorfully.

For fans with big appetites, the Big Burger is a quarter pound of 100% Angus beef patties and topped with melty American cheese, crunchy pickles, and a tangy burger sauce, all on a pillowy potato bun. For fans who want even bigger burgers, the new Big Burger is available as a single, double, or triple patty to satisfy all appetites.

“After extensive product development, we’ve perfected our new Big Burger lineup so our guests can indulge in a single, double, or triple full-size burger at Krystal,” said Krystal’s Chef Ray Kees. “These burgers are seared & seasoned on our grills and placed on a nice potato bun, and we’ve added sharp American cheese, pickles & a tangy burger sauce. We can’t wait to provide these indulgent burgers to our guests.”

Locations where guests can try the Big Burger in Georgia include Gainesville, Calhoun, Cedartown, Lafayette, Columbus, Cartersville, Macon, Byron and Rome. In Alabama guests can visit Gadsden, Phenix City and Center Point locations. In Tennessee, the Big Burger is being served in Chattanooga, Dayton, South Pittsburg, Knoxville, Lenoir City, Maryville and Madisonville.

The Big Burger joins the lineup of the Original Krystal, Spicy Wings, Chili Cheese Pups, and Side Chiks. Fans shouldn’t wait to head into Krystal locations to try the new Big Burger, either at the Drive-Thru or through third-party delivery.
