Premier Swimming Pool Retail and Services Franchise Adds Newest Location

March 27, 2023 // Franchising.com // Clear Lake City, TX - Pinch A Penny will open its newest store in the Clear Lake City area of Houston on Friday, March 24. The new store will be located in the University Plaza Shopping Center at 2429 Bay Area Blvd., Houston, Texas.

The Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa is owned by Jason and Christine Leveille. The Leveilles are originally from Canada and moved to the United States in 2002 before obtaining United States citizenship last year.

Jason has been an operations manager in the NDT (non-destructive testing) industry for 26 years, inspecting and certifying welds for pipelines, large tanks and facilities. Christine has also worked in the oil and gas industry, which included contracts, project management and logistics. The couple owned a large daycare facility for several years and Christine has spent the past three years as a real estate agent in the Clear Lake City area.

Christine will run the daily operations of the new store. Jason, who owns a Texas state repair and installation license, will spearhead the store’s service, repair and installation departments and train field staff. The Leveilles, along with their teenage children and trusted staff, will be a constant presence at the store, ready to greet and guide their community members and pool owners.

“We understand the challenges that come with properly maintaining a pool and we believe we will be an excellent resource to the many pool owners in the area,” said Christine Leveille. “There is a need for our services in Clear Lake City, and Pinch A Penny will provide not only the proper on-site maintenance but also a storefront location with supplies and helpful advice.”

In addition to pool supply retail, Pinch A Penny offers ongoing pool service and maintenance, free water testing, equipment repair services, landscape lighting, and more. The new store is open seven days a week with operating hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
