Pinch A Penny Opens New Store in League City, Texas

Swimming Pool Retail and Services Franchise Adds Newest Location

April 06, 2023 // Franchising.com // League City, TX — Pinch A Penny will open its newest store in the League City on Friday, April 7. The new store will be located at 3729 E. League City Pkwy, Suite 150, League City, TX 77573. It is near Clear Falls High School.

The Pinch A Penny Pool Patio & Spa is owned by Steve and Libby Lang. The franchise has been offering pool service to local customers for the past two months, and the storefront location will now be open to customers to shop for all their pool care and maintenance needs.

The Langs are both from the southeast Houston area and currently reside in Santa Fe, Texas. Steve comes to Pinch A Penny with a background in mechanical integrity in the oil and gas industry. He served as a chief inspector for more than 20 years. Steve will use his experience in construction and maintenance to lead the store’s repair service operations.  Libby has 10 years of experience in social work in addition to her time as a stay-at-home mother. She will oversee the retail side of the new store.

They believe they will be able to provide service, supplies, and expertise to customers in the area. “As pool owners ourselves, we know the importance of properly maintaining a pool and how valuable it is to be able to help and share advice with other residents in the area,” said Steve Lang. “We are looking forward to providing the repairs, equipment, and customer service to homeowners throughout League City so they can get the most out of their pools.”

In addition to retail pool supplies, Pinch A Penny offers ongoing pool service and maintenance, free water testing, equipment repair services, and more. The new store will be open seven days a week with operating hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 on Saturday and 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

“League City’s prime location between Houston and Galveston makes it the perfect area for a new Pinch A Penny store,” said Jim Eisch, President & CEO of Pinch A Penny. “The market there is constantly growing with more families and homes with pools being added every day. The Langs have a strong connection with their community and will provide outstanding service and recommendations for pool owners in League City.”
