Save A Lot Re-Opens in Carlisle, KY

Local store owners bring high quality food to community

May 18, 2023 // Franchising.com // CARLISLE, KY - Save A Lot, one of the largest discount grocery chains in the U.S., today announced it’s coming back to the Carlisle community. The store, located at 2473 Concrete Rd, marked its grand opening on May 17, giving local residents the opportunity to experience Save A Lot’s outstanding quality and value. The store closed two years ago after sustaining flood damage from record rainfall in the area.

To celebrate the grand opening, the morning kicked off with a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. Save A Lot CEO Leon Bergmann will join Saver Group store owners Dale Combs and Chief Operating Officer Keith DeFisher along with the Nicholas County Chamber of Commerce to mark this exciting event for the community. Following the ribbon cutting, customers can enjoy a cookout in the parking lot from 10 a.m.– 3 p.m. sponsored by Heiner’s;

During the May 17 event, the store is doing giving aways to the first 100 customers each day through May 23.
